Students being placed in an inappropriate level
Disagreements of honors levels students between parents, teachers, and students on appropriate level.
Some parents are pushing for their kids to be placed in an honors level even though they cannot do the work.
Idea.
1. The computer makes the schedule with the student disputing after.
2. This year can't be fixed.
3. Mentor program
4. Take out the computer process with students in the computer lab.
5. Better prerequisit
6. Pathways for students that starts from the freshmen year.

1. Establish criteria for level of placement by each department

1. Students don't enter in wrong information/school staff enter in information
2. Teachers should determine what student is taking for classes next year.
3. Teacher recommendation goes directly to Admin/Guidance specific core courses (electives handled through guidance.
4. There must be a way in PowerSchool to recommend a level of placement during third quarter
Example 4=up level, 3=same, 2=lower, 1=meet with teacher(for AP)
or 5=AP, 4=Honors, 3=college, 2=options, 1=consultant
